Jessica Mauboy discusses marriage among secret wedding rumours

Jessica Mauboy has hinted that she is happily married woman. 

The singer discussed marriage amid rumours that she and Themeli Magripilis are settling into life as newlyweds. 

Saying that wedding plans, ‘took a long time’, Jessica added in a chat with The Sunday Times, ‘We used to talk about it and we talked about how strong our families are and they get along really well.’

According to the , Australia coach exchanged vows with Themeli at a small church ceremony in Darwin, followed by a reception for more than 300 guests at the Mindil Beach Casino Resort.

Sources close to the couple reportedly told the publication that there wasn’t ‘a dry eye in the crowd’.

Jessica and Themeli’s evening reception reportedly took place on the lawn of the resort, which overlooks Mindil Beach.

‘I always knew I wanted to have the wedding in Darwin,’ she told last year. 

‘We are just making sure everyone can be there, but are close to locking in a date!’

The 34-year-old Voice judge was forced to postpone her wedding due to the Covid lockdowns.

The couple, who have been dating since they were 18, got engaged in 2019 while on holiday in Greece. 

Jessica recently left fans buzzing with anticipation following a mysterious Instagram this post hinting at possible pregnancy news.

The multi-platinum artist shared a brief clip of herself standing in a museum, draped in a loose-fitting skirt and a chic long-sleeve green shirt that cleverly concealed her belly.

‘A little something might be on its way…you know how excited I have been to share new music with you, it’s just around the corner!!!!,’ the 33-year-old star captioned the enigmatic post.

The internet immediately erupted with excitement, as fans and friends alike speculated on the meaning behind Mauboy’s cryptic message.
