The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection can be configured to be a triple travel system with the addition of a bench or an infant car seat. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and belly bar. It is 20percent smaller and lighter than the top single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a sunshade of medium size and a handy magnetic peek-aboo window that is simple to open and close. The telescoping handlebar is among of the simplest to adjust and is suitable for parents of all heights. The seats recline and have a footwell adjustment knob so you can position your child to ensure maximum comfort. The storage bin is large however we would prefer it had a latch that is more secure. The bin is easy to open, however the zippers can be frustrating because they have to be unfastened and then put back in place after every use.
Like its brothers Like its brothers, the City Select has single-action brakes that are simple to set and release by the pulling of a lever located on the side of the frame lower than the handlebar. It’s barefoot and sandal-friendly and is a step up from the toe-pinch lever that some of the competitors use.
This is the only stroller we’ve reviewed in our review that accepts two infant car seats which makes it a great alternative for twins, or for parents with a single child and a baby due. It can be used with most major brands infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it on Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It is a great option for families with a car seat and want a stroller that can accommodate it, but you may be better off with another convertible stroller that can accommodate an additional infant car seat in this instance.
